At Château de la Calonnière, the Chenin Blanc takes pride of place among our wines. This emblematic grape variety of Anjou and the Coteaux du Layon, remarkably versatile, is the only one capable of expressing the full complexity of the schist terroir, spanning dry, sweet, and sparkling styles. Next come the reds and rosés, made from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Grolleau.

Our wines are crafted as a faithful reflection of terroir and vintage. Intervention is kept to a minimum, and applied with the utmost precision.
